    Default Foot Motif

Figure I'd try to get one last pic in for the foot motif. Here's one sure to get Alfred all excited ...

a juvenile Snowy egret from the Gatorland Rookery .... this guy should be ready to fly in a few week. I figure it's about 1.5 - 2 months old. These were the same snowies that Artie photographed back on 4/16. So my have they grown.

Hi Michael, Interesting image with strong "in your face" view. For a foot motif it's not working for me. The area that grabs ones attention is the birds beak and head. The feet are a minor part of the image...

I agree that focus is very sharp on head and beak and draws the attention , although that grip looks pretty impressive.

As is, I might remove the one leaf just below the beak.

It is quite amazing how close you can get to these birds. They do not appear wild at all.
