    Default Flamingoes

I took this photo of flamingoes on Lake Nakuru back in 2005 and then some time ago I played around with some different filters and effects and only just found it now. Looking at my layers which were unnamed, because I'm lazy, it looks like I desaturated and then masked back to the some of the colour at a low opacity. Then added a PS filter. Best guest.

Not sure whether I should have lowered the birds in the frame, but I didn't want to lose the reflection. Any thoughts?

    Nice image and application, Hilary.

I might sharpen it just a touch. I also would evict the two "black birds?" in the UC and UL areas.

Hilary, I agree w/ Mark:eek: :) I would evict the 2 blackbirds if it were mine also. Nice effect and overall look. I like the color de- saturation very much.

Very silly of me, I didn't notice those black birds! They have to go, you are right. Thanks for the comments.

Hilary, I really like the composition and desaturation. And evicting the black birds would make it perfect.:)
