    Where there are baby avocets and stilts there are parents, too. Last week I found this Mr/Mrs Stilt whom I thought looked pretty good. I believe the object of his/her gaze might have been his/her shadow, since the sun was shining slightly right to left. How'd I do?

    good job uncomfortable with the branches in the background and blue discoloration in on left,nice image can clone the above out

    I like the pose and calm water. It looks as if it needs a bit CW rotation and I would try to get more details in the blacks and tone down the whites some. I'm undecided about the grass in the upper left.

    Axel, thanks. Please tell me how technically (I use LR2 and Elements) you would "tone down the whites some" . . . and how you can tell they need it . . .
