Snoozing Hummer

I chase Anna's Hummingbirds all over my backyard to try and get an image. I think I wore this one out (they usually wear me out first).

HI Ian - Patience my friend - make them come to you ;) Linda Robbins Hummingbird guide is probably a good investment if you are going after these guys.

Couple of issues here - on my screen looks a little soft - bird is facing away from you and eye is closed - now individually IMHO none are image killers (depending on the image of course) BUT combined??? Maybe??
Interesting to see what others say.

Hi Ian, Due to the OOF bird,HA looking away and closed eye the combined factors make for an image killer.
Sometimes it's best to set up a feeder with perches around it and wait for them to find it and once found will come in repeatedly. Chasing them around the yard is tiring and usually unproductive...

I was sort of joking when I said chasing ...

I actually have 3 feeders and get a fair number of keepers. I'd just never seen one with eyes closed before because they are usually as hyperactive as my kids with ADHD :D

Hi Ian Fully agree with Dave, he does make some strong points !!!

.... btw if you set perches in your yard, setting the bg is just as important !!
