    I love kingbirds Jim, they can contrast so nicely in their habitat.
    In my limited opinion, I think less head turn would be much more desirable.

    Thanks Dave. I think you are right about the head turn. I have one in a more profile view of the same bird, but minus the berry, so I was waffling between the two.

    Berry plus head turn would have been great, but then... :) I might crop a bit off the left.

    Hi Jim,

    I like the environmental image. The head looks soft. If you pay close attention, the body is sharper than the head. Doesn't work for me. Sorry.

    Really like this Jim and I also like the Fstop you chose for this image but I do agree about cropping a little off the left and the head turn. I find this a very pleasing composition.
