We're lucky to have Kentucky warblers that breed in our backyard, as well as worm-eating, yellow-throated, pine, Louisianna waterthrush and northern parula.... just 10 miles from downtown Nashville! Mild audio used;)

A beauty it is. I like the HA, exposure and detail. I wish the bright branch were not present behind the head.

Thanks, Ed. I suppose with the evenly colored areas around the branch it could be cloned out, as I'm not praticularly fond of it either....

Lucky you, great to have these species nearby. Exposure looks good as does the sharpness. The branches are a bit distracting but it doesn't look you could have done anything about it except using a setup.

Thanks, Axel. I need to camp out in our woods and try to find the parents carrying food back to the young, tough to find a nest of this species. I think I will try a better setup next time, this was not very well thought out.

Ed, good lookback pose, and just love the yellows on the bird. Overall sharp, and Im glad you have beautiful birds visiting you in your garden.

I agree with the above comments, but what an awesome bird to photograph!! Although this one is perfectly sharp as presented I wouldn't hesitate raising the ISO for better SS (and likely better keeper rate...)

Hi Ed, The Warbler is perfect the BG is the only downside to the image . Would definitely work on a set up for this guy.

Uh, that is tough bird to see, to take a photo is a real accomplishment.
I remember when I was trying to get a glimpse of a singing male once
for couple of hours. We got to see the bird only when
somebody got a tape-recorder and we played the song.
    Congrats!
