    This little guy was munching on grass with his 4 siblings. The parents were there and protective, so I kept my distance. I had my lens as close to the ground as I could, while still seeing over the grass. Applied selective NR to the background.

    I like the low angle and the blurred FG, nice show of environment. A tad better head angle will make this image stronger IMO. Also it needs a bit sharpening.

    Very sweet. nice shooting angle. I am Ok with the head angle.
    re: sharpening - I would be tempted to sharpen the eye/head a bit, but leave the rest of the bird alone to play up the soft/fuzzy quality of the down. Just my take on how to best tell the story here.

    I might crop up from the bottom about 1/4 of the OOF grass.

    I live this, so cute and tender. I'd just sharpen the eye as suggested by Randy.
    Very sweet capture, love the OOF greens.
