There has been such a nice grouping of baby shorebird shots posted recently I thought I would add another I took a couple weeks back of a baby Killdeer. I know the angle isn't the best as I shot this from my car but the parents remained calm and allowed the babies to run around calmly as long as I stayed out of sight in my car. Thanks for looking and any critiques are greatly appreciated.

    Matt:

I don't find the angle objectionable, and in fact, with this shot, it lets you see the feet over the rocks, which you couldn't see at all if lower.
Nice drip on beak, well exposed, nice color palette.

I think the bird could be just a bit sharper.

    Cheers

I'll echo Randy, I like the water drop and could be a little sharper.

Matt, cuteness factor all over this, and the droplet does add a lot of interest. Angle looks good, and I feel the legs have taken the point of focus here.

    Cuteness alert!
    He looks so lost...poor thing.

It could go a bit lighter for my taste, TFS.

Oh I love the babies and this is one sweet image. Well composed and excellent detail and exposure. Many thanks for sharing.
