    Hi Alfred,
I am a little torn on this one........I love the colors and the overall look of this image......but part of me wants a little more DOF on the snout. Love the glow of the eyes from this angle.

Amazing colors on this one. Love the concept, but I wish the snout was sharper.

    Alfred,

I am not seeing critical sharpness on the head. Also, on this image you could have did a bracket of the nose and head and layered them in to get increased DOF.

Interesting at 1600 ISO and already 1/80 of a second there isn't much room for options Should have mention it was hand held with fight lens Robert's idea would have been great but even having a tripod mounted lens don't think it could be done with the animal's slight forward movement !!!!

Bustin' your chops Alfred. I noticed the techs 1/80 sec. 1600 ISO. :)

Dang Alfred, that is some sweet light!!! Wish that I had been there to witness that. A little sharper would be nice, but 1/80 and handheld is quite a test. :)

    Hi Alfred,
Hand held makes a big differnence. I only have the Mark3 and was looking at back-ups........does the Mark2 have an ISO of 3200?.......and is there a huge noise difference between the 2 bodies? I'm starting to believe in the high ISO's when you factor in some of the noise reduction software,

    Hi Alfred,
While the beautiful colored background works for me, I'm having trouble identifying the subject...as suggested it would have worked better if in focus.
