    Hi Alfred,

    I don't often comment........but this is great image. Overall Color, detail in shadows, a very striking bird. The feathers shimmer. Great light, on a dark bird......well done!

    Wow. 100-400 lens @ what FL did you shoot this at?
    Should try to get there sometimes. But I assume you need a boat?

    Beautiful topside capture Alfred....this is exceptional. For those who have never been to Blue Cyrpress it is hard to explain the rapidly changing conditions with lighting and BG. Love this shot!

    Hi Troy You need a boat but are available there, can even get them to take you out !!

    .. was taken at 300 mm, cropped right and left to make into a vertical, top/bottom left alone.

    Thanks for the comments, have been trying a full frame vertical and have a few but none with the trees in bg, difficult following the bird vertically with up/down movements !!

    ... btw this was made with the 100-400 lens that does not focus well and its not very sharp .... :) I'm still amazed at the things you hear about this lens !!!
