    Very nice!! Details on the body look good to me! Shooting angle slightly high but still lovely.

    Hi Sandy - I enjoyed that spot at Baylands this spring as well. Did you get a chance to see the avocet chicks there? I think they hatched about 3 weeks before the stilt chicks.

    Too cute, and I love the various ripples in the water. Good job on the exposure, and sharp as posted. I know its not always possible, but a lower angle would have been great. I would also crop at bottom to eliminate all of the brownish "slime" at bottom. I also wish the bird was not angles away from you (even if ever so slightly).

    Sandy I am with Daniel and think the foreground should be eliminated as best as possible. Other than that this is a great image. I especially like all the ripples and the patterns they make around the chick little droplets included. Nice job on the exposure too.
