Inspired by others to try a texture layer as a background.

    A work in progress...

    Steve - very interesting!
    Very nice colors!
I'd like to see at least one area in sharp focus, to draw the eye.
A couple dark spots on the left could be cleaned up.
Needs a bit more room on the bottom, imo.
Really fun to play with filters!

Steve, I like the colors and the composition. Sandy makes some good points. I think the halo near the stem should be an easy fix. The texture in the BG does add some interest. Nicely done.

Thanks Sandy and denise for your vision. I find these mini-assignments (your suggestions) very helpful in discovering unused features (for me:))of CS5 and Lightroom. I cleaned up the spots and halo on stem. Unfortunately the DOF is so small. It barely touches the leading edge of the water drop... so used dodge and burn to add some pseudo contrast to the drop and some edges. Also added some canvas to the bottom and content-aware filled.
That's about as far as I can take it - for now;)

Steve, the repost looks good. I especially like how you enhanced the water drop. I'm always surprised at the
small details I've missed on my posts and when they are commented on seem so obvious. I learn something new every time I post.:)
