    Hi John,

    Love the pose in the Avocet. Wish for a slight head turn your way, or at least, parallel to the camera plane.

    You could try and make a bit of noise to call his attention? this will benefit from a bit more room at the top and warming the temperature a bit.

    I agree with what Fabs says reference the slight turn of head

    The image is lovely sharp and clear

    doubt I will be submitting any pictures yet as the standard here seems very high :-)

    A very solid image. I just wish the subject was parallel with you. Still a very nice image.

    Getting the head turn would have cinched it. Nice and sharp with good placement in the image. I would like more room on top. Foot raised is a nice touch.

    Thank you all for your comments! No argument that the head pose could be better. Interesting idea to attract their attention.
