... maybe you should re name him Snarly :) Difficult to zero on anything but the face !! Fine image Harshad !!
Harshad - strong image. His teeth look red. Had he just come off a kill?

Harshad, you have captured the angry essence of this cat very well. Looks like many teenagers I see walking down the street! :p Interesting flap on his belly which seems more pronounced than may photos I've seen, do you have any information on it?
Things I really like about this image … the position of the cat in the frame; the wonderful expression on the tiger's face; the stride you caught with the front foot stretched out and almost touching the ground; the lovely autumn colours; the out of focus group of trees in the background and the way the road curves around the tiger.
What I would rather not see is the road, would have been so nice if that had just been a forest track made by other wild animals but that is an unrealistic dream.
A really fine image with both the subject and its' environment caught superbly.
Hi Hilary , I guess you are talking about this , red pen marked
Yes Harshad, that's it. I know that biologically tiger's have a belly flap of skin as opposed to lions which don't but this seemed so prominent. It is probably just a variation on that but we need someone like Egil Droge or another biologist to let us know.
I do know that the lions in Tsavo East NP in Kenya have developed a similar flap of belly skin which is very unusual and more akin to the tiger but it is quite interesting … but way off topic!
Farshad,
Great facial expressiom, probably had to many annoying visitors:D
Would you consider smoothing out the very few tyre tracks?

The road doesn't bother me, in fact I kind of like the way it twists around. Know such is usually not wanted in wildlife shots, but ok for me, this shot.

Composition is fine. Nice pose. There seem to be noise at ISO 400.
Hilary,
This is the male cub of the Jhurjhura tigress. That is an ulcer and not a characteristic of tigers. This fellow used to lag behind his two sisters and we were thinking that he will die. However, somehow this fellow managed to survive. He used to be very shy of humans where as his sisters are bolder. Her mother used to snarl at noisy tourists. It seems he has gone after his mother and resenting the presence of tourists. It is ironical, that her mother who used to resent disturbance from human beings, was runover by a jeep last week. I hope the same fate doesn't befell this young tiger.

Thanks for that Sabyasachi, very interesting.

Very beautiful Harshad, love the scream, sound must be quite scary. BTW haven't seen you post anything in the Avian forum lately :( what happened to the beautiful birds of India?

lovely image bhai - agree on trying to smoothe the tyre tracks, but the face has my full attention!! some compression halos around the tiger and noise in BG as Sabya mentioned could use a bit of attention
A really powerful image, Harshad. Apart from all said, I love the soft tones in the BG.
True, the road might look annoying but it documents the place after all, I'd leave it as it is.
BTW, the thing in the belly looks like a hernia to me, it's not uncommon for domestic cats to be born with one.
Thanks everyone , I have posted one trip report here http://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/showthread.php?p=507802#post507802
