Default Good news Re: Stuart Little

    Hi everyone,
Sorry I have been terribly busy working a full time job and doing most household things in support of my wonderful wife's full time studies. I have been even too busy to see the little one being released. :( :( :(

Remember? This thread may jog your memory.

Stuart Little made it to adulthood and was soft-released around six weeks ago from Woodford about halfway up the Blue Mountains. All I know is that he came back to the aviary a couple of nights to get his supplementary feed and then most likely made his home in the wilderness. It was certainly a wonderful experience to be involved with seeing a little bald, totally helpless little animal grow into an adult capable of fending for himself. We will always remember Stuart Little. :)
    Cheers

I am glad to hear he is still kicking. You should be proud of your good work. Those little claws are something else.

I am so glad to know this. I emailed you once asking 'bout the baby, but you must have not gotten it.

Hey, it was a team effort. Many people involved, which is why he has been given the best possible chance. Even this way, the apparent average life expectancy for a Common Brushtail Possum is around five (5) years in the wild. :(

Fabs, did you? I honestly didn't get any e-mails. I am very good at answering. Sorry if you thought otherwise. :)
