This one was taken yesterday morning at Great Meadows in Concord MA.
Mike Milicia was there too and we had great fun shooting this little guy.
He was too busy building his nest, not cooperating too much, though.
    CC appreciated.

Like the singing pose and high key bg !! Sharp, lot of detail and well exposed Not sure about the green, my eye keeps going to them? Excellent image !!!

    Very nicely done, Ilija!
Techs look great and lots of detail.
Agree with Al about the reeds but not much you could have done.

Enjoyed shooting with you ... hope to see you there again!

Really enjoy the high key atmosphere and the singing pose.

I think it would present much better without the greenery.

See how tastes differ. I like the symmetry of the green and im not a fan of the white BG. Good detail and pose though.

The green really draws my eyes away. Otherwise the pose and framing is perfect Ilija. Love everything about it.

Nice singing pose, and good vertical comp (was this an original vert, or cropped from horizontal?) I'm undecided about the green, but I lean towards not wanting them there. I do like the high-key approach. I would also prefer more separation between the reed-tip and body.

Thank you for the comments, I appreciate them very much.
Considering the greenery I think I could de-saturate
and make the image more monochromatic.

Mike: I too enjoyed shooting in your company, hope to see you there again.

Dan: This is quite large crop from horizontal (420mm only :()
I was actually surprised with the IQ at such large crop, credit to Nikon and D700.
