A mystical loon image from Lac Le Jeune, BC just this time last year.
Taken very late in the evening from a moving small boat, and lots of processing to bring out details of a very dark image.

Love the fog and the dark look. When I am around you will always get busted for head angle even in OOTB :)

Beautiful mood and mist Sandy. The Loons look so natural in that environment. I like the way you composed this with the second one just turning it's bill. Nicely done.
Sandy, I love the fog and the whites on the loon looks like silver:) It is a very peaceful image.

Hi Sandy, I think you brought out just enough detail to make a very nice image. Like the moody feel!

Nice image and application, Sandy.
Like the mood of the image. Nice ...
Sandy, I love the mood of this - just right as presented :)
Best,
Nicki
Sandy, I love what you were able to do with low light and a rocking boat. I see from your EXIF that you shot this at 1/125. The sharpness is remarkable. Agree about the moody feel and that you have done just the right amount of processing. I think this might be a good image to try the chiaroscuro effect on.
