Went to the Glades today to see the baby owls at Mahogany Hammock then went to Flamingo and did not see much action. On the drive back after sunset, I spotted this barred owl along the main road so I stopped, u-turned and parked across from it and took a couple of pics. I eliminated the red-eye from the image. For these night time owl shots is it more aesthetic to fix the red eye or to leave it?

Great consolation prize Michael - and a nice diagonal perch as well !!
Face looks a tad dark on my monitor, and yes I also go with correcting red-eye for sure.

Really neat image. I think you did a good job on the eye. Was there still enough light to focus? Or did you have a spotlight?

    Hey Mike,

Excellent man...Like Al said, not an easy capture. You also did well with the flash.

There was just enough ambient light for me to get a focus lock.
