    30D, 300/4L IS + 1.4x, ISO400, f/11, 1/125th, 430EX @ 0, beamer

    Greta portrait. I like the crop and the way he comes into the frame form the bottom corner. I like the black BG and the stare.

    Akos, It's amazing how much their feathers look like tree bark. Must be hard to spot them. Awesome eyes and very nice details.:)

    High impact image Akos .. .those are compelling eyes !!! .. for these shutter speed is not going to make that much of a difference, flash is making it sharp !! Big Congrats !!

    Outstanding flashwork once again mate, evenly lit, and just love the eye contact. As Denise says, their plumage must blend in very well with their natural habitat.

    Amazing color and details in the eye....glad you were able to catch the eyes as well as the detail in the feathers, great shot!!
