    Default Black Necked Stilt

I am on a trip to the south of Mexico enjoying my beloved Yucatan. I tried to stay away from posting, because I'm on my laptop and the screen is in a bad shape, so I can't be sure that my PP is done right. However, the temptation is big, so here is a shot from this morning, that was taken in a small fishing town on the golf of Mexico. Comments are welcome.

Szia Lóránt! What a great pose you got here! I just wish the head was a smidgen more forward and not obscured by the wing. The action is priceless my brother. I love it. Is this a full frame or have you cropped? I am struggling to see any feather detail; especially in the whites. You gotta love this spot bro, wish I were there with ya! :)

looks good Lorant, personally I prefer wings in full up position for this shot. TFS

good exp and natural colours. The wing tip in the water takes it over the top for me

Akos. Thanks for the comment. It is a crop. I need to take a workshop with you how to get that close that even with a 300mm I can get full frame images. By the way, I wish too you'd be here. Hope we will photograph together someday.

Lovely low perspective, and the light has shown up the colour on top of the wing nicely. I also like the pastel colour of the water. I would maybe remove the small 2nd catchlight in the pupil.

    Hi brother
No worries. There is no great wizardry in what I do or how. No need for workshops; that's for the pros out there. I am a mere mortal only. :D

In any case I myself hope that some day we can meet and hang out together AND eat all the szilvásgombóc, gulyásleves and hortobágyi palacsinta that we want! :D

Really like the low angle and the open bill + action. A bit softer or lower sun would have been better but its nice as is.
Agree with Akos on the wing. The whites have some detail not a ton but okay on my screen.

Photography and the hungarian food in mexico? So Akos, when is our trip to mexico with Lorent?:D
