    Taken a few days ago.

    Nikon D300s, Sigma 80-400mm 4.5/5.6 OS
    ISO 800, F5.6, 1/800, 400mm on a 1.6 crop factor from camera
    Handheld, Manual Mode

    Cory:

    I love the bill here, and the preening action. Generally preening shots seem to work most effectively with the head parallel to the image sensor.

    The lighting is interesting here. I could see it 1/3 of a stop brighter.

    Unless you have an unique D300s, I suspect it has a 1.5 crop factor like the D300.

    Oh, oops. I had a canon 20D a long time ago and I must have been thinking of that. Thank you for your comments.

    Hi Cory Agree with Randy !!! ..can add would crop a little form the right for proportion !! btw after you lighten the image overall, could selectively lighten areas Like it a lot !!!

    Thanks for the comments and suggestions, here is a re-do. Brightened and cropped some from the right.
