Some folks think Wood Storks are not very attractive birds but I find them quite interesting. This is one from Costa Rica. C&C encouraged and greatly appreciated.

    Katie,

Overall this is a great shot. The white on the shoulder is a bit bright, losing some details. Sharpening, it is a bit over, pay close attention along the white edges, the dark line.

If it were mine, I would crop more of the body, shows more on the face and some neck. Just a personal preference.

Great pose with a perfect head turn. Sharpness looks good on my monitor. I like Troy's idea of a slightly tighter crop; I'd take a little off the left and the bottom.

I like it as presented because I like the detail in the whites and the black around the wins. I think a tighter crop would certainly be a nice image as well but I would keep this one. I like the HA. Cool looking bird.

Great HA and another vote for a tighter crop. (from the left) Nice looking bird I say! :)

Nicely presented. The head looks like its made of stone. Good exp and detail and love the soft violet BG
