I like the pose. The light is problematical, a bit too contrasty. This might work better as a vertical.

I like the perch, the sharpness and the pose. The light seems harsh, and the background rather distracting. I'm far from a PS expert, but I wonder if the background can be blurred a bit.

Hey Ryan. I like the pose and perch. The light was a bit against and I see a lot of noise in the BG. Do a few rounds of selective NR on the BG and that will blur it a bit more as the BG has quite a few awesome colors and should work nicely a bit more blurred.

Wonderful pose and perch. I concur that bg is distracting as presented - calls out for either a blur or a vertical crop to reduce it's distraction of an otherwise lovely image. Might consider brightening the eye a bit.

Another vote for a vert. Lovely pose and perch. Maybe light was a little harsh? Congrats. :)

Light looks a little harsh and not ideally angled (coming from the left). The various lighter streaks in the BG make it distracting. I like the pose on the phoebe though, and you got it on a nice perch.
