Harold, this doesn't look like a bird to me..... I like the comp although I might crop a wee bit off the left. I like the soft feel of the flower, but there is not enough in sharp focus to grab me. You now have the entire vacation to try it again..... By the way, were you doing laps or pina coladas at the pool?

I like it Harold. Might take a sliver off the top, but otherwise like the comp. Enjoy your holidays!!!!! (where are you):)

Did it take the Pina Coladas to bring out your artistic side?....or you have had it all along. Quick...someone call Georgia O'Keefe and tell her that Harold has arrived. I like it - even though it doesn't fly. Have a great vacation.

Hi Harold - I like this also - but think that something that was tack sharp in the image would draw the eye a little more - as is My eye wanders the image and doesnt really find anywhere to lock onto.
Is that a bad thing?? - maybe not.
    Love experimenting!!

Hi Harold, If what you were after was a dreamy, soft image you accomplished your goal. I'm usually an F22 guy when it comes to macros but can appreciate soft focus images. I like your placement of the center and the fanning out on the left. I agree about taking a small amount off the left...

I think the pina coladas are briging the artistic side of you. Keep drinking them my friend. Like the soft colors. Do crop a little from the left IMO.

Hi Harold I like wide open little dof look but would like one of the center edges sharp !! Good composition .. agree on taking a little of the left side !!!

Hola hijo, very nice composition and high key look. For me, it would be nicer with one sharp edge. The mind has trouble processing nothing sharp in an image. Not mine only, everyone :)
