Weekly Theme: Emerging Heron

I merged two images for this one. The background is a flower that I twirled, simplified, and boosted the saturation. I then blended the great blue heron and used a little Color Efex detail stylizer. All C&C welcome! Thanks for looking.

Cindy, Very surreal. I like the swirls of color and the way it floats thru the wings. I might evict the straight line by the feet and take a teeny bit off the top if it were mine. Wow! I love it!!:)

Cindy - very unique! I like this a lot!
Great colors and leaving the eye sharp is nice.
I'd suggest trying the bird a bit higher in the comp.
