This Cooper's Hawk has been terrorizing the various rookeries with the many new hatchlings. It amazes me how they know instantly the moment he flies into the open...and start noisily giving out warning cries. He landed and hung out ...long enough for me to get a teleconverter on as he was far away. Cropped bottom, left and right sides

powerful pose and stare. just a little busy all around. as is, might sharpen the eye a little and tone down the whites under the tail feathers. be curious to see if anyone suggests adding more canvas back to the left side, but i kinda like it as is.

Wako is loaded with branches, twigs, etc. it is what it is. I also agree adding a tad on the left since the bird is looking back and that would put it more off center. Nice capture. Congrats and good shooting, adding the TC and still getting the shot!

Hi Ken - BG is what it is - for me I would crop a little from the top and a little more space on the LHS.
    Nice capture nonetheless.

Hi Ken, Agree about toning down the whites and i would take some off the top.

Great capture and being able to mount the tc and still capture him. Only thing for me is that the yellows look a bit over sat. IMO.

Nice capture, Ken. I don't mind the busy branches -- they frame the bird and don't obstruct too badly, while offering some context. Good pose and detail. Agree with a bit off the top and added to the left to improve the proportions. Not sure I would have desaturated the yellow quite that much, but that's personal.
