Hi Don -IMHO Maybe the point of focus was not on the head/eye area - as it looks a little softer than the back area.
Exposure looks pretty good and some nice details in those whites.
Not sure about the crop - the missing foot does give it a funny feel - IMHO.
Will be interesting to see what others think :)

I don't mind the missing foot as much as where the crop is on top. If mine I might crop tighter on top and some from right as well.

Nicely exposed and I like the interesting pose.

pano crop! a lot off the top and a little off the bottom. that's how i would handle this situation, but i would sure like to have seen a better head angle. i love the light on this bird. really nice. and the detail in the whites look good too!

Hi Don, Agree regarding HA. Nice light with good detail. I've played with the image and find the cut leg is bothersome to me with any comp I can come up with. Would probably have liked the whole foot and either cropped the top or shown it all. Sounds conventional but thats what most appealing to me....

Hi don, great exposure and detail. I agree with Harold on the pano crop and the HA. Keep 'em coming......

    Hi Don,
I like it. I'd think with the pano crop it should qualify for the Foot motif?:)
