    Jeff:

An engaging pose, properly scaled perch.
Some subtle loss of detail in some of the yellows, possibly a bit overexposed?
I might have tried a shot or two with flash at -1, if time allowed.
Just for personal taste, I might try a version cropped down about 25% of the free space on the top, and a very small crop from the left.
I might try to burn in the trunk, esp. the lower 1/2, since it has some reflections from the flash.

    Thanks for sharing!

    Cheers

Hi Jeff, Excellent critique by Randy. I might also try to soften the flash catchlight in the eye a bit...the pinpoint flash catchlights usually look a bit artificial to my eye.

    Thanks for posting!

    Cheers!

There seems to be a slight white blur on the left hand side of the image which is a bit distracting. Otherwise, great shot, nice smooth bg and very nice detail.
