    They get a lot of my attention.

    weather partly cloudy light kind of flat.

    How did I do in PP on this one?

    Hi Phil,The image has appeal to me. I like the soft light with good exposure. Well positioned but I would take a bit off the top. I might try and blend the whitish area on the bottom with the sky also.
    The sky looks like it might have a bit of noise which might be due to a large crop or size reduction.

    Hi Phil.
    An interesting pose. Nice and sharp. I like the color and pattern of the Bg but agree it needs some NR.
    I would also show less of the piling it is perched on.

    Phil, this is a good-looking bird. I agree with Dave and Peter-either crop out or blend the white area at the bottom.

    Hi Phil - agree with the above comments - I would also sharpen the eye a tad - as the head area looks a little soft - some NR on the background and the crop suggested above.

    Hi Phil....needs noise reduction and sharpening in the eye. The bg is nice and the exposure looks good!

    i like it too. i'd crop out the lighter line on the bottom and add some contrast to the eye. the contrast will brighten the yellows and darken the blacks making it appear sharper and give it some life.
