The sunset light in Arizona is just fantastic. The air being so clean is something us polution plagued New Yorkers ars not used to. This guy came to perch just as we were getting ready to pack up. Gave us a great end to a perfect evening.

    Cropped a bit for composition.

I love the light here Joe and the bird looks great but I am not sure as much about the perch. It seems to overwhelm the entire scene here with its size. It has amazing character but just seems a little big to me. I am curious as to what others think. The bg looks very nice but there seems to be a little noise showing. Congrats on the patience paying off.

Awesome composition and I love the pose. For me that pose is over the top. Beautifully composed in wonderful lighting and superb BG. Many thanks Joe for sharing this beauty!!

Such beautiful light and I like the "proud" pose...has a painterly look.

This one is all about the light and the pose, super image, Joe. I bet this will make a real fine print.

Yes Joe, the light looks just wonderfull. I like the Bg , pose and, especially, the texture of the perch a lot. In a perfect world, I would prefer a neat separation between tail and perch but this one is not a perfect world of course ;) and I would be very happy with this one in my files. TFS
