    1/500 sec
    ISO 400
    Garden Sempervivum leaf tip, natural light, backlit, manual mode, s/h, sharpening , cleaned some white tiny spots on red.

    It does look like a red bird. Very well seen and photographed. I like the softness and the rich red color and sharp edge really pops. Nicely done.

    I too like the very sharp edge and colors. But I keep thinking that there should be more to look at for a subject. Perhaps a tighter crop would make the sharp point and edges stand out more.....

    I like it, Ovidiu! I keep wondering if I'd like a solid BG more than the lighter stripes but then I think no...that adds to it also. Excellent eye for the abstract...

    Julie, I have asked myself the same question:D but not when I shoot this:o, after that, when I've seen it on the monitor. Anyway, I think that I could not avoid those stripes (edges of the two leaves behind).

    Good eye for spotting this and the title fits perfectly. I like those stripes in the BG. :)
