I like the colors and feather texture in this grooming shot at a pond near Spring Hills Florida

Sweet pose Scott but I find it a tad dark and a slight blue cast on the head. Good detail and eye contact too . If there was more canvas on the right IMO I would like to see more of the neck to balance the image a little more. Good BG and a good choice of f stop. Many thanks for sharing.

Scott, its always good to capture behavioural shots, and with the slightly closed eye, he seems to be stretching to the limit to get to that out of reach itch. A bit tight at the top, and I agree with Judy that a little more neck visible would work.

Love the preening pose and colors -- I never realized their eyes were that color. I generally like tight crops; I'm not sure if adding space to the right would help without also adding a bit to top and left. Personal preference, I guess.
