    Default Great egret with habitat

Not the ideal perch but loved the background a lot. Thx for looking.

40D. 400 5.6L wide-open. iso 640. 1/1600s (had set up the iso for flight shot. which I never got!) Neat Image did a fine job of noise reduction. some USM on the egret.

    All C&C welcome.

Good exposure and a lovely statuesque pose as well as being well composed. Would love to have seen a different perch but still a very beautiful capture Kaustubh. thanks for sharing.

Kaustubh, well controlled on the whites, and I like the stately pose and HA. The egret stands out so well against the dark green BG. We cant choose where they decide to land.

Nice bird, pose and bg. Great exposure. Too bad about the perch.

Kaustubh, i don't mind the perch and i do like the background, though I'd like it a bit more muted. i like the crop.
