Congrats on a great capture; both birds are sharp, beautiful bg and the dragonfly prey is a special bonus. Very nicely done!

Superb on all counts Ramesh. Big congrats. Getting such shots is quite hard. Only suggestion is a tad more room below. but as-is this is bigtime WOW. thx for sharing.

Great shot -- I like that I can see eyes on both birds -- not easy for me get when shooting multiple birds-- colors are gorgeous

Ramesh, always good to get two in the frame, and the opposite postures works well. Colours look natural, and the catch with the BE on the right adds to the image.

    Wow, truly fantastic!
A gorgeous couple, fantastic light and background, and beautiful gourmet bird food to boot!
Would love to hear more about the making of this image. Did you chance upon them or was this the result of lots of planning, blood, sweat and patience?
    Either way, hearty congratulations!

    Ramesh,

Nice soft light and the dragonfly action is great.

Super job getting both bird's faces sharp at 5.6.

If you can try it next time look for the toss, they like to throw the prey in the air to rotate it to be head first of to get a better grip. As soon as I see any movement I fire off a burst and sometimes you can get a mid-air capture with bill agape.

    Thanks for sharing.

I missed this one, is really nice. Love the action of the bird swallowing the dragon fly, the fact that both birds are in focus and the nice BG. From a compositional point of view I think that a bit of more room at the bottom would help because the tail tips seems to be a bit tight. TFS :)
