While everyone else was trying to photograph the Ospreys that were flying directly overhead....these guys came through. They kind of had a look that was saying "What are we doing here with all these Ospreys"....or perhaps "Why stay here because no comes here to see us"

Hi Ken - IMHO - a little more separation between the birds is called for :)
The front bird is a little soft in the head/area obviously the focus was on the bird behind and the dof was not enough to cover the front bird as well - some additional sharpening might help.
Cloning?? artifact top LHS - and maybe some more room up front for them to fly into.

Two good HA'S - Not a easy thing.
    Good show :)

Love the coming toward you flight pose and how the two birds are in symmetry pose-wise. Wish the focus is on the front bird and more separation between the two.

Hi Ken, Lance covered all points I had in mind. I generally shoot at F8 but found that 2 subjects almost have to be on the same plane for them to be sharp at that fstop.(distance from subject also has something to do with it.)
    Looking to see more...

    Hi Ken,
I like the compositon, light and colors. The symetric flight is really great. BG could use some clean up.

Hi Ken. Techs covered above. I personally like the pair together in flight. Are the reds a bit oversaturated, or is this their natural color?

Hi Ken, i agree with the DOF issue. I also think the reds are a tad over. Good HA on both birds, what a capture... Keep 'em coming.....
