    ISO 800, F5.6, 1/250, Fill Flash
    Handheld, Manual mode.
    Flash pointed up.

    I like how both birds are doing something. The flash is a bit too obvious for my taste.

    Nice interacting poses, Cory. Flash was obviously necessary in this situation - you may be able to reduce the effect on the perch and moss by burning selectively. I like the soft textures of the plumage.

    Good suggestions above. I would also tone down some of the lighter areas of the BG (especially near the right owl) and remove the bluish (cyan) cast on the owls. Did you run NR on the complete image? The owls' details seem smoothed out...

    Good interaction on these young fellows, and I like the setting. The mosses add to the image.

    Thank you all for the suggestions, yes I did run a nr on the total image. The details don't look as smoothed out on the original.
