Love the details, colors, head angle and eye contact in this one!
Agree that it is one of the most vividly colored birds I have seen!
Was this seen in Bangalore? We generally see these in the hills, and only rarely in kolkata in winter...
I do like the colour of the flycatcher, together with the pose. This looks like a large crop, and the bird is completely oversharpened. The tree in the BG is a bit distracting, and maybe moving to your left may have given you a clear shot. Keep them coming.
Ramesh, loved the pose, comp and the DOF here( is the tree trunk OOF out-of-camera or some blurring in PP?)
But I also feel that it is very oversharpened. Colors seem a little extra saturated too. So if this was mine, I'd back down a bit on sat and sharpness. Thx for sharing. It is definitely one of my favorite flycatchers from India.
Beautiful bird with great head angle, eye contact and meal. Agree it looks over-sharpened, that that's an easy fix and it's otherwise a wonderful image.
I like the soft light and colors. great pose and HA.
It looks oversharpened here as well.
