I was trying to get an action blur of this Pelican splashing. It was very cooperative.
Large crop and removed a shadow from chest.

Nice image and application, Denise.
Like the apparent movement, with the splashing.
Excellent capture Denise! The slightly blurred wings with everything else in focus was perfect timing! The crop makes for a wonderful composition - great placement of the pelican in the frame.
Denise, I echo Patti's comments - lovely work :)
Best,
Nicki
Thanks folks. I appreciate it.:)
Very lovely, Denise! Perfect pose and composition, and I love the blurred wings and splashing. :)
Thanks so much Christopher. :)
Beautiful image, Denise. What I like most about are those splashes... almost like fireworks in the sky.
Nice capture Denise! Birds always look so serious when they are thrashing the water like that...
I like the blur and the water flying everywhere. :)
