Bull Thistle in Color

This image was taken at Merritt Island NWR. I have always been fascinated with Bull Thistles, for their beauty in the face of being a weed.

Modifications in CS4 included; Invert, Find Edge, Shadow & Highlight, Brightness & Contrast and Hue & Saturation adjustment.

Mark, Looks like the glowing edges filter. Nice composition,might like a bit more separation btwn bud and bloom. Black BG really does look good.:)
