beautiful pose and details, clouds in BG are a plus. Another run of NR will help.

Lovely sky BG and warm light, Ken. The image looks a bit noisy so could benefit from a pass of NR. I am seeing some streaking around the edge of the perch and parts of the bird suggesting a hard edged brush when masking.

Sweet light, which in turn has brought lovely warm colours. Good to see the clouds in the BG sky. I agree, there is a lot of noise evident in the overall image.

I did little if any PP on this image other than adjusting colour balance and a little sharpening. The original has little noise, I think the problem here is caused by posting from a revised JPEG in the UK, on a uncalibrated monitor.

I will lok again when I get home tomorrow, and see if I can get a better image.

noise mentioned but love the colours and light Ken.
18-3000?? I assume you mean your 28-300 lens?
my monitor is shoddy but it looks like there might be a reddish/magenta cast despite the early morning light?
