    Spent part of this evening staking out a favorite hub of activity for the bobolink colony on my farm. An old stone pile overgrown with wild raspberries in the center of the hayfield always provides singing perches for males. I set up my favorite pop up blind and waited for ten or fifteen minute before this guy visited, about 20 minutes before sunset.

    Full frame. Did some noise reduction on the BG and lightened the eye slightly.

    Lovely warm light and calling pose, John. Maybe a little more room above and to the right to decentre the bird - would require extending canvas but should be easy on those edges.

    Beautiful light and fine detail. Well composed. I feel the bird is just a bit too dark.

    Beautiful bird and as mentioned lovely lighting. I agree a tad more canvas on top would strengthen this image. Many thanks for sharing.
