Not sure this is the right forum but this is a composite image. I moved the bird and perch onto a new background, both images taken on the same day. How did I do and would you do this if you stated that it is a composite?

Roy, This is the right forum.:) I love the BG color. The extraction work looks great. I might refine the edge of the perch a bit as it seems just a bit cut and paste. Nice pose on the Wren w/ the tail upright. You could also do a slight gradient to the BG if you wanted, but not necessary. I also might crop in a bit tighter if it were mine(personal preference) Nice work!!

Looks very good, Roy. The BG color goes well with the bird. The edges just need a little refinement as Denise mentioned.

    Nice image and application, Roy.

Why not do it, as long as you are honest enough to let others know?

    Looks good.

Roy, Great job on the extraction! I can't tell. Agree with Mark. If I make big changes to an image, I own up to it in an explanation or just put Manipulated in the title and explain if asked.

Roy, nice work with the extraction. I agree about a tighter crop but that's just my preference.:)
