i guess it's no secret that blue cypress has been the place to be lately. it is one beautiful place and this past weekend i got another chance at the ospreys with OZ and his wife. it was a great day. i unfortunately had my head somewhere else and didnt perform up to par. a couple of keepers and here's one.
D300, 120-400 at 400mm, f/5.6, 1/1000s, ISO 800, manual exposure. i didnt even realize the ISO was so high til just now. very minimal noise on this one!! added a slither of canvas to the right side. didnt clip the feathers, but it was close!
thanks for looking. comments and critiques much appreciated.

ha! i dont feel so bad. i thought i had forgotten to attach it, but it was there. must be a new system glich so i just uploaded it again. here it is, so fire away!!!!!
Like the pose on the main bird - think I would loose the one on the top left - would make it stronger - IMHO
Might selectively sharpen the bird just a tad more also :)
