Image created late yesterday afternoon in Plymouth, MA through soime wonderfully diffused sunlight.

Added canvas on the left side and cloned out a few OOF tern blobs from other areas which were in the background.

    Nikon D300s, 600VR, TC14EII, ISO 640, F8, 1/2000, NearuniWB, CW metering, +.3 EV

Processed on my laptop which I rarely use, so please let me know how it looks?

    Jim:

Looks good to me. Very nice composition. Normally I don't like merges of birds, but it works very well here with clear view of both eyes. The raised foot gives a sense of action.

I might be tempted to clone out the band, and since it is such a clean image, would consider cleaning up the gray blob beneath the rear of the left bird.

Soft light really helped. Nice shooting angle.

    Cheers

    Randy

    Band will stay.

Roseates are endangered and this jewelry is important...besides, it helps me locate them in the field among the flocks of thousands :)

Completely missed the fray blob and I wil take care of it...Thanks Randy!

Great behavior shot! Love the low shooting angle, and the catchlights in both eyes; plus, of course, the raised foot. Well done.

Great light, angle and sharpness but the interaction puts it over the top for me.

OP looks fine to me. I don't have a problem seeing a band therefore, my hand is not itchy to clone anything. :D
Well done on a wonderful intimate moment! :)
