    Default Red Shoulder Hawk Portrait

A couple days ago I was just packing up my gear to head home when I started hearing this singing/screaming from behind me. So I turned around and there were two Red Shoulder Hawks sitting on a tree limb doing some kind of matting dance (very cool to see) unfortunately I was unable to get a shot of them together because like I said I had been putting my gear away. I did however get this one and a few others. Thanks for looking

    Cory:

Excellent exposure in a challenging lighting setup.
    Sharp.

Comp is nice for the circumstances. I think the biggest limitation here is the steep shooting angle, which of course you can't control.

In a perfect world, wish the greenery in front looked a bit fresher.:)

Good to always keep your ears open. I have a five minute rule. I always stay five minutes longer than I plan, because invariably something happens at the end!

    Cheers

Very fine detail. Tough shooting angle. Still a nice portrait.
