I like the composition, Oscar. I'm on my monitor at work, but the focus looks a touch soft to me.

Hi Oscar Good looking female !! We should be having lots of these birds now !!

Agree on being a little soft, would crank the ISO higher for more shutter speed, 1/125 really need to be careful You are shooting at 200 + the camera crop factor !!

Framing wise would go a little tighter to have the bird out of the frame middle, do leave enough around it !! I like how you tried getting a pleasing bg, for these do move around and pay attention to the viewfinder for the cleanest bg so not much needs to be done in PS !! Re-posted with a slight crop, minor curves contrast increase and sharpen the bird (not bg) Looking forward to the next one !!!

IMO for this particular one the bird is locked into something so find the head angle appealing !!

Alfred, that re-post is excellent. Now my little bird looks like
the queen of the wetlands! One day I hope to get that good...LOL!

And yes, we have a lot of them nesting in our area. Lots of eggs so
    soon we will see babies.

    Thanks.

Hi Oscar - AL'S repost improves, and AL has given great advice re the SS.
a Little more sharpening to the eye maybe - will make the whole image appear sharper.
    Keep em coming :)
