    I tried a bit extreme dark BG with this image.
    The original was dark green to begin with.
    Comments appreciated as always.

    Nikon D700 300mm+TC14 f/5.6 1/2000 AP-1/3 ISO 400

    I like the tight crop, pose and head angle. I might lighten the BG a tad for better separation with the bill tip.

    Ilija, I love the black BG and it really makes your Egret pop off the page. It also adds a nice mood. The sharp details and nice pose are great!:)
