    Did not like original so ran it through Topaz painter then remove some bright spots and lines Comments please

    Grahame, I added the weekly theme prefix to your title as this qualifies for our theme. Nice bright colors and the composition is lovely. I might touch up the BG a tiny bit more near the far wing. It does look like a painting.:)

    Nice job Grahame, I like the colorful treatment and painterly look. The left portion of the near wing seems a little dark, but I like the pool of light on the head and legs!

    Grahame, Very interesting looking critter and nicely composed shot! I love how you were able to retain all the detail you have in the wings but still have a very painterly look. Agree about the orangish color in the background by the far wing.

    Like the treatment and colours. If it were mine (which it isn't:)) I might lighten the brown on the LLC. Is this a really tiny creature like all aphids?
