    Default female red breasted

    Photographed last october in northern maine from a boat while out looking for some moose.
    Last rays of sunshine for the day just glancing off of the water before total shade overtook the lake.
    Nikon D200 with 400mm 2.8 and 1.7 ext ISO 400 at 1/160th and f8

    what sweet light, and the low angle is the very best.

    Perfect low angle, and gorgeous light. The warm colors are fantastic! I would suggest carefully cloning in some detail in the brighter part of the hot spots near the base of the bill.

    Nice as above but whites in neck burned and bird swimming away is less than ideal.

    Love the low angle. The BG colours compliment the subject well. Agree about the hot spots on the neck and angle.
