    Supposedly a rare sighting (A certain Safari operator claimed it as being an exclusive), this is an Albino Red Lechwe, unfortunately we were never able to get close enough to get a decent image as a result of the high water levels.

    Taken in the Southern Moremi on a dull day.

    EOS 1D MkIV

    500mm F4 IS hand-held from vehicle

    F10 (?), 1/640, ISO 800, EV+0.67

    Ken - Interesting image. It reminds me of a goat.

    An oddity to be sure. Given the fleeting moment, you got a relatively clean view of the albino.
